Vandals in Smyrna

Kelly asked in this comment if there was any news on the damage done yesterday.

The Daily News Journal has this to say.
Upwards of 20 homes were vandalized in northwest Smyrna over the weekend, but police think it's unrelated to the rivalry between Smyrna and La Vergne high schools.

Most of the property damage occurred Saturday night in the Vineyards, Potts Crossing and Living Springs subdivisions along Rock Springs Road, said Detective Sgt. Scott Byers, public information officer of the Smyrna Police Department.

Most of the reports taken involved hood ornaments being removed from cars, bashed mailboxes and broken yard statues.
............
Byers said he knows of 26 reports that were filed, but probably well over 30 homes in the area had sustained damage. Other instances of damage were reported in other parts of town Friday evening.
Looks like kids out being extraordinarily dumb.
