Another Cracker Barrel?

The word has it that Cracker Barrel is looking to open a second restaurant in Smyrna.
Lebanon based Cracker Barrel is looking to Smyrna for a new location.
....
A second location would be located at exit 70 off of I-24. That is the Almaville Road exit. No word on when the store would start construction if approved.
No details from WGNS on how solid this information is, but as one commenter on their website asks. Is Smyrna big enough, and is there enough traffic to support it?

I too question whether we can support another one in Smyrna. I'm still totally perplexed at the new Walgreens being built.

The Cracker Barrel story was also in the DNJ last week.

I did not see it. I do not get the DNJ, and sometimes Google search does not find many articles.

Hey Gunner,

Maybe you should sign up for Google Alerts instead of manually doing searches every week. That way, whenever an article appears about whatever topic you choose (say Smyrna), an e-mail will be sent to you notifying you about the topic in an article or blog or whatever Google finds.

Just a suggestion. I think it's a great tool.

Here is the link: http://www.google.com/alerts

I have several of them set up, but there are still articles that do not show for some reason.

Smyrna shouldn't have any problem supporting another Cracker Barrel. I stopped going there, long ago, because the wait was insane, not to forget the horrible parking.

Has anyone heard when Demos' is arriving, and what about the IHop we heard about?
