Voted today and an admission

I went to meet my wife for lunch in Murfreesboro and after we sat at Stones River park and enjoyed the weather for a bit we decided to vote. The lines at the Park building are short and we spent only a minute or two in line.

Sadly my legs were killing me so I could not do something that I had planned on doing. I simply could not stand long enough to do it, but my wife did have time and she cast a write in vote for...me. I was hoping to get at least two votes.

Ha. I'll be "writing-in" a candidate too.

Certainly wouldn't give my vote to either of these anti-constitutional, anti-liberty socialists.

McCain=Obama. Two heads of the same statist monopoly.

Yikes.

And I think I'm going to write you in for town council, if that's even possible.

David, yes, you can write him in.

Gunner, prepare to have your dreams exceeded. I know that at least two other votes have already been cast for you. Another two are likely, not counting David up there. LOL, I really didn't know you were interested in the job. Had I known, I would have campaigned for you.

I must admit, I'm not thrilled with any of the current candidates... but I can certainly cast a vote for Gunner with a clean conscience.

Gunner for Mayor - 2010!
