It's organic matter for this year's garden. Mostly shredded leaves. You should see the rich organic soil I've created... it's beautiful. All that mulch is working its way slowly back into my growing area. Need some?
I'm cool right now, but I'm very impressed at your efforts. My back is so bad right now. I spent 2 hours in physical therapy today alone for it. Not doing much lately.

I'm so sorry to hear that. That's awful. Back problems are miserable.
If you do decide you'd like a garden, I'll come over and help you. Once the initial labor is done, a mulch-covered garden is very low maintenance.
