Burned BBQ

Bad news Smyrna.
"Around 2:45 p.m., fire crews responded to Bob’s Barbecue on Enon Springs Road West. Fire Chief Bill Culbertson said a grease fire got out of control in the rear portion of the kitchen.
It could cost up to $60,000 to repair is they need to tear down the wall.

We lose the BBQ festival and now this. I smell a conspiracy.

Thanks to Sergio of Dreaming Ink Tattoo for the photograph.

I was sad to see that when I drove by the other day. That can hurt a small biz bad! I wouldn't think a simple brick wall like that would cost $60k.

There is a Bob's bbq store on Waldron in La Vergne. Hopefully some of their smyrna customers will drive a little further just to help these folks stay in business

I just thought they were doing their pulled pork "extra smoky."

Seriously... I'm glad no one was hurt. I hope they have some kind of insurance. That's a horribly expensive accident.
