Kevin Arnold recently
won an award as the Police Chief of the Year from the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police.
The award is given to a police chief from West, East and Middle Tennessee.
Arnold, who was nominated by another Middle Tennessee chief, received the award on Aug. 13 at a chiefs of police conference in Knoxville.
“I give all the glory to God and these men and women who work here,” said Arnold, who has been Smyrna Chief of Police since March 29, 2007. “It was very nice. It was very unexpected and very humbling.”
