This sounds like a fun trip that could be educational and enlightenning. A local Laotian Temple will be having an open house for those interested. I love occasions like this for their educational purposes. Most people do not know that Smyrna has a small Mosque just off of the downtown area. I went to their open house and it was pretty cool, plus they fed us some SPICY food from South East Asia. Did I mention spicy? This sounds like a fun chance to be exposed to something new. have fun.
MURFREESBORO – The Laotian Wat Buddharam Temple will hold an open house beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The temple, located at 5214 Old Nashville Highway, will feature programs and performances. No admission is charged and the public is invited.
