The Smyrna Town Council is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. tonight. You can view it in person or you can watch it on local cable channel 3. there is also a streaming option that is normally buffer free through the towns website. supposedly the group that is against the closing of the towns fitness center will address the council.
What is making me enjoy this is not the fact that people are going to be speaking against this action, but the fact that they are going to be speaking. People talk about the apathy is communities and it is rather nice to see such a quick organization of such an action group to a cause. I wish them luck and hope the individuals stay active in the political realm.
