The numbers

Town of Smyrna Municipal Election

MAYOR
4,528 votes: Tony Dover
2,495 votes: Ben Johnson
1,100 votes: Steve Townley

COUNCIL(Vote for three)

5,072 votes: Marc Adkins
4,770 votes: H.G. Cole Jr.
4,405 votes: Lance Lee
3,695 votes: Carolyn Peebles
2,420 votes: Richard P. Garvin
(48 of 48 precincts reporting)

..and the winners are

Mayor Tony Dover(55%)
Council members Cole(23%), Lee(21%), and Adkins(24%)

In our local race for the 49th state district Mike Sparks won with 57% of the votes.

I was horribly disappointed that Haslsam won due to his flip-flopping on certain issues in the last day.

Dianne Black(66%) now represents us in the 6th congressional district.

Well that's it for tonight.

Wanted

From the Smyrna Police Department
I am hoping you can help us locate a suspect and warn banking institutions to watch out for this suspect and prevent further forgeries/thefts.

We currently have sealed indictments issued for Jeremy Hulled. The charges are for 3 counts of forgery, 2 counts of theft $1000 - $9999 and 1 count of theft under $500.

Hullett forged checks from a local business and cashed them at two Regions Bank locations in Smyrna and was able to receive several thousand dollars from the illegal transactions.

We are hoping someone will recognize Hullett from the attached photos and provide Smyrna Police with his possible location. We also hope to warn banking institutions to watch out for Hullett since he may attempt to forge more checks and cash them at other banking locations.

Any person with information regarding the location of Hullett is urged to contact Det. Allan Nabours of the Smyrna Police Dept. at (615) 459-6644 or their local law enforcement agency.

Any help you can provide by posting this information is greatly appreciated.
