Candidate Forum
The Smyrna Town Council Candidate Forum was held recently cosponsored by with The League of Women Voters of Murfreesboro/Rutherford County and the town of Smyrna.
The forum was held in the council chamber room and broadcast on Channel 3 live, and has been archived HERE for those that wish to watch it later The moderator, Dr. Amy Sayward was the one that asked questions and it was a good forum.
The election is right around the corner, so this is a good way to hear directly from the candidates to assist you in deciding whom to vote for.

Upcoming candidate forum
I am almost tempted to live blog the forum for This is Smyrna, TN...But...I am overly aggressive and biting in my views on politics. You would quickly get tired of me posting over and over "that is so stupid..we as a nation are doomed".
So...
I leave it up to you to watch and hopefully make an informed decision on who should represent us on the council for the next 4 years.
You can also submit questions. They might even pick yours to ask.
Details as follow:
The Candidate Forum will be televised live on Smyrna TV: Comcast Channel 3; and U-verse Channel 99. The meeting will also be available via our live webstream of Smyrna TV.
Beginning Friday, October 14th, the program can be viewed online through our "Featured Videos" section on the Town of Smyrna Website.
Click here if you would like to submit a question for the moderator to use during the forum. NOTE: Not all submitted questions will be used.
