In our town
Each month the Smyrna Police Department releases basic crime figures to let you know what is going on here. Here are the numbers for September and the accumulated numbers for the year. Sadly Smyrna suffered its first murder last month in a domestic situation. A piece of good news is the capture of a suspect in two robberies in Smyrna and more elsewhere.

What is the deal with all of the burglaries? For a community of only 40,000, you're talking about a huge percentage of the towns population being effected.
