They want to hear from you

Almost everyone has that spot in Smyrna. Where the traffic always seems to slow, and it looks like the lights/streets/lanes are almost made to upset you. Well now you can take a moment and point directly at that spot and let the Town Government of Smyrna know your feelings.

They have set up a public online spot where your voice should, or at least could, be heard.

Welcome to Smyrna's Transportation Plan public forum. We need your input! Please take this opportunity to tell us where we can improve on issues such as safety, congestion, bicycle and pedestrian travel, transit needs, and other transportation issues or concerns. Thank you!

I figure a close up of the towns favorite source of complaints it seems would fit in nicely, so here is Sam Ridley Pkwy.

Right now they have a workshop scheduled for 2/22 to address these issues.

The Smyrna Town Council and the Planning Commission will hold a joint workshop to discuss the Major Thoroughfare Plan and Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan updates.
Monday, February 22nd at 6:00pm
Large Conference Room at City Hall
315 South Lowry Street
Smyrna, TN 37167

They also have a survey for you to take if you wish to let them know your feeling in a little more depth.
