Harry Gill, the Directorof Rutherford County Schools, plans to propose to the Board of Education that the magnet program at Thurman Francis Elementary be moved to Smyrna Primary.
Supposedly this move will not comprise the program but is intended to make room for an additional 300 regular education students. There was no indication when this might be proposed or when this might occur if approved. My best guess would be next year.

Please, don't forget to help raise money to provide Christmas for the children of recent hurricanes. We have a number of evacuees that have taken up temporary residence in Smyrna, TN.
