Smyrna Elementary has been named one of only 50 National Distinguished Title I Schools out of 27 states, and Smyrna Primary has been honored as a Tennessee Distinguished Title I school for achievement gains.Tip of the hat to you!
Principal Zago [Smyrna Elementary] will travel to Dallas, Texas this month to receive the award to be presented by First Lady Laura Busch.

Smyrna Elementary and Primary Recognized
You know I think Smyrna, TN is great so it should come as no surprise to you that I think the schools are awesome. Don't take my word for it, however... Congrats goes to Smyrna Elementary and Smyrna Primary on their recent awards and recognition.
