My wife and I are both experiencing a large volume of dropped calls, lost connections and garbled conversations on our cell phones. We live in the middle of town. It just started about a week ago and our phones work fine outside of the few blocks around our house.
Did we lose a tower? Did a meteor strike? Has AT&T been taken over by the government?
Anyone else losing connection lately?

Interesting. I've had people call my cell (from a cell phone) yet mine doesn't ring and the call drops and they can't leave a voice message. And other times I get notification of a voice message that was left hours earlier when my phone was in my pocket the entire time and didn't ring. We're AT&T also.
That's exactly what's happening to me. Did it start doing that recently? I can't dig up any pertinent news. Might have to knuckle under and call AT&T.
Yes! We are experiencing the same problems. At one point we were told that a tower was down. Hopefully, service will improve soon.
The frequency has increased dramatically over the last few weeks. I was at Home Depot over the weekend and couldn't get any network coverage on my phone. I'm now pricing plans to move away from AT&T.
