Mural Competition submissions

The up coming events for the Smyrna Art Fest includes a mural painting contest. This is separate from the Art Crawl that had submission dates in May. This one has submissions that is in just one week.

Mural Contest 
Would you like to contribute to the beauty of Smyrna? Add your talents in a big, big way? Leave a lasting mark on Smyrna?
If you’re answering yes, this is the competition for you. 
Your Artist’s Eye
The subject to paint is “The Town of Smyrna, TN through the Artist’s Eye”. 
Submissions – Paintings must be done on Luan Board/Underlayment in 4’x6′, painted in outdoor resistant paint. Artwork to be brought to the Carpe Artista Training Center Building at 101 Front Street on June 7th or 8th between 4 and 7 pm. 
Display – Boards will hang outside on the Depot District Fence for approximately two weeks for the community to be able to enjoy them during the month’s events. 
Selection – A winner will be chosen and commissioned to work with the Town Management to design and execute a large mural on the side of the Assembly Hall Building.
