A small section of Smyrna is in the 34th District for the State of Tennessee legislation. Not all readers are technically in Smyrna, and some are in this area, I thought you might find this article from the Murfreesboro Post worth reading. Four Republicans and one Democrat are running for the 34th District House seat being vacated by Republican state Rep. Rick Womick of Rockvale. 

As early voting approaches July 15-30 and Election Day on Aug. 4 in the state primary, the candidates answered these questions from The Post.
