This might be the first crime I have posted about here on This is Smyrna that involves vandalism and cooking oil.

On Sunday 3/26/17 a vandalism occurred in the parking lot of the strip mall at the corner of Rocksprings Road and Old Nashville Hwy. The suspects pulled into a parking space in front of the Stop and Shop Tobacco store, then proceeded to dump a large quantity of cooking oil onto the parking lot surface. The vandalism has caused the oil to be tracked across the parking lot, and into all the surrounding business, producing a slippery surfaces and hazardous conditions. The suspects are a black male and female. The suspect vehicle is a gray Kia Soul. The male suspect goes into the Stop and Shop Tobacco store after dumping the oil and is captured on security video.
