What did he call them?

"Sneaky bastards" seems so harsh a term to be used for the Smyrna police department speed enforcement units.

video 2 and 3 are also fun to watch including him regretting the fact in one of them that he recorded himself breaking a traffic law. Oops!

The roads in Smyrna are much safer than in Nashville because of the viligence of our police department. If Nashville did the same, the number of traffic related injuries and deaths with be reduced considerably. Only those breaking the law will be complaining about the police presence in this town.

I agree. In the past Smyrna had the rep of being a speed trap and that is hard to lose once you got it, but in reality looking at the town budget numbers you see how small tickets pull in compared to other towns. Smyrna is very much not a speed trap and only keeps an eye on trouble spots where people have a bad habit of pushing the limit.

My bad habit is pushing/rushing yellow lights.

I wouldn't mind seeing the police de-funded, honestly. Though at least Smyrna isn't as bad as some municipalities.

That clip was funny, though. Strange. Felt like a storm-chasing vid.

Am I the only one that doesn't get the point of this post and videos?
Guess I'm just lame.

If you follow the law, the police presence is a welcome part of the communnity.

Every few days I drop by youtube and see what videos are posted that have a connection to Smyrna. Most are personal family videos, but this one was simply funny due to his last comment. Most people who live here know the spots the police sit at and when he said "sneaky bastards" I laughed and thought to share.

This is not an attack on the police, just his final comment in the video.
