The fun that good neighbor poultry can create

So...they have sort of a "Backyard Chicken Association" where people meet and discuss raising chickens in the backyard. Hmm...

It might even be the first stop for someone considering raising chickens in the backyard, as a means to learn how to do it properly. It might be a way to communicate best practices that will keep the neighbors happy. Best of all, chicken people could share ways to make the home economics of their projects work out to their advantage and discuss problems as the arise.

Of course, I personally, believe free-ranging chickens in town is a bad idea for the very reasons given in the video: predators, chickens taking up residence on a neighbor's property, etc. It just puts neighbors in an awkward position of having to say they are unhappy with you, even if they really like you and enjoy having you and your chickens as neighbors. Keeping them in a run will prevent all manner of problems, from not getting a subtle hint that someone is unhappy with you to not shaking up someone's reality that their cute fluffy dog is indeed a predator.

He has some good information there. He is definantly new at raising chickens, only a few minor errors. Other wise he did his research well.
