Trout release: The next Middle Tennessee area rainbow trout stocking is Friday below Nice Mill in Smyrna.

The West Fork of the Stones River will receive 2,000 fish. The truck bringing the fish usually arrives between 9:30-10:30 a.m., Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency officials said.

Many anglers try to be at the site when the fish are dumped.

Nice mill is simply a lovely place to go and relax and to watch the water flow by, so fishing and the scenery makes this event worthy of posting on.
