Twelve Smyrna-area schools were under a lockdown for several hours under the threat of a kidnapping at Smyrna High School, according to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department.Luckily no one was hurt as of yet, but he is still out there.
A man who was in a dispute with his wife kidnapped a case worker from a domestic violence office before releasing her and threatening to kidnap his son, a student at the high school.
The man has been identified by authorities as William Doris Irwin, 40, of 211 Ashmont Lane, and is driving a black 2005 Nissan Altima with the Tennessee license 653-LCV.
