I need a new set of tires on my truck and since i don't drive much a used set would be nice. Of course some used sets are costly also, so I figured I would check Walmart first. I don't need a high-end set, just a set.
When I went to check by vehicle I noticed the years only go back to 1986. I guess before that we were all on foot.
I figure I will go to tire world and try to get a used set.

Sounds like a "choice roll back". Have you noticed that when you go to buy parts for the ol' beast, the counter man has to abandon the computer for the old books? Statisticly our older cars do not exist. The programers drop the older cars to reduce the size of the data file.
I found that my tires have pretty much been discontinued. 16.5 are costly. I'll get them this time, but will look around for some 17 inch rims for the future.
