A new face
I would like to welcome a new face...or at least a new blogger name to 'This is Smyrna, TN.". David Goodman is a local artist, father, husband, blogger, and a good neighbor.
He will be part of the expanding line of bloggers here.
I welcome you David to the blog. I stay real busy with work so your help on this blog is wonderful. I don't post as much because of my work schedule. Thanks for the jar of jelly. I need to see more of your work because I am needing art for my walls. other than that I am totally moved in now and love the area.
And about the art, sure thing - I'll give you the "good neighbor" discount. I have quite a few different artistic projects cooking right now and the inside of my house is starting to look like a gallery.
There's nothing like original art to brighten up a home. I think it adds some serious class - and it's also cool when you know the artists and can see them getting out there. I enjoy supporting the local arts scene with my time, and, on the rare occasions when I'm not starving and have money, the occasional painting purchase. ;)

I'm very glad to be on board! Thank you for inviting me.
Now I guess we'll see what crazy art and cultural events I can find around here.
I think we may need to throw a painting exhibition in Mark's new front yard.
